I recently spent a couple hours wandering around the artwork installation of Eupalinos Ugajin. A longtime resident artist of SL, Eupalinos is responsible for some incredibly beautiful photography. The latest artistic build is no exception, in fact, it is a thing of beauty. Intricate and precise, it is also strange.. and surreal.. and unpredictable.
So flawless you’ll think you really are moving…
Each area is interactive, that is, something happens when you interplay with them. You’ll find yourself walking or perhaps taking positions, such as sitting and posing in open windows, stumbling along the sails of windmills, and even “frozen” into a serious running pose so flawless you’ll think you really are moving.
You’ll have plenty of time to focus your camera and explore other things happening around you.
However, once in awhile the interactions are not by choice and you’ll find yourself waiting 30 seconds for the little dance that’s grabbed you to finish it’s cycle. It’s fine though because as your avatar is otherwise occupied, you’ll have plenty of time to focus your camera and explore other things happening around you. Things like giant glasses complete with eyes that seem to be as interested in you as you are in them.
This made for an exceedingly striking visual images.
You’ll be given quirky items to wear and use, that add to the feel of the works and their surrounding environment. My favorite was pair of wings that didn’t flap or glide or move at all, instead my avatar moved, spinning so violently it appeared as though it was her motion that actually propelled the wings and keep her afloat. This made for an exceedingly striking visual images that fit right in and blended seamlessly with the work as a whole.
But ultimately you’ll also get a glimpse into a very unique mind.
There are 6 or 7 areas to teleport to and each have their own game or mystery to solve or play. This art piece is on an entire sim, allow yourself plenty of time to explore and experience it. At the very least you’ll be awed by the cleverness of each area and how they all work together. I couldn’t find much info on the installation itself but even without explanation and perhaps because of not having one, you’ll find it fascinating for ultimately you get a glimpse into a very unique mind.
I’m including a few links to read more of Eupalinos Ugajin whose work can also be seen at:

And last but least, Eupalinos made a selection of music that he looped for his own sim. If you like it you can find it below to play on your parcel.
